Doors, gates, and railings
Faded finishes, peeling areas, detailed surfaces, and smaller exterior features.
Straightforward labor pricing
For focused painting, repairs, and maintenance, a day rate can be simpler than waiting on a traditional bid. Send your list and photos, confirm the fit, and schedule the work.
The simple idea
A visible price lets you decide whether the service fits before the back-and-forth begins.
You choose the priorities. We work through them carefully in order. If the list is larger than the time available, you decide what matters most first.
Good day-rate projects
Day-rate work is strongest when the priority list is clear but the exact preparation time is difficult to predict from the surface alone.
Faded finishes, peeling areas, detailed surfaces, and smaller exterior features.
Fascia, baseboards, window trim, isolated peeling, caulking, and focused repainting.
Small rooms, accent walls, office spaces, doors, trim, and lived-in wear.
A prioritized collection of touch-ups and smaller corrections between occupants.
Minor patching, surface preparation, spot priming, and repainting where appropriate.
Work that is too important to ignore but too focused for a large production estimate.
Clear boundaries
We confirm the actual surfaces and priorities before the scheduled date. The day is used for the approved painting work—not an unlimited promise that every item will fit.
How it works
No contractor parade and no mystery price. Start with enough information for us to decide whether day-rate service is the right fit.
Show the overall area and tell us what you want improved.
Gabriel reviews the work, access, preparation, and likely material needs.
Put the most important work first so the day delivers the best value.
Once the rate and scope are clear, we put the work on the schedule.
Honest expectations
Preparation, drying time, access, repairs, detail work, and changing the scope can affect progress. We give you a practical opinion before scheduling, but we do not rush preparation or promise that an open-ended list will be completed in one day.
For a larger repaint with a defined total scope, a traditional fixed-price proposal may be the better fit.

If a second scheduled day is needed, the labor rate is $500. Working time after the scheduled day rates is $65 per hour.
No. We agree on the priority order and work carefully through the list. Surface condition, preparation, access, drying time, and added work affect how much fits.
We will say so. Larger or more defined projects can move into Royall Painting’s regular proposal process.
